Keyi Dera
The search for my dream bay welsh b mare ended at Keyi stud in June 2013. One glance at this incredible mare and i knew she was the one i had been dreaming about! Instant excitement! Thankfully Chris and Janet thought she was meant to be with me too, even though she was carrying a very special foal.
Dera didnt really think too much about being uprooted so instead of being able to get to know her better i had to put her out in the big paddock with her travelling partner to destress and eat and grow her special foal.
The 15th of September 2013 at 3am an incredibly refined headed bay colt, with 4 white socks came into this world and Dera became the most amazingly calm maiden mare i have ever foaled down. She stood stock still, not even turning her head until her little foal finally latched on. She hasnt stopped touching him since, a very proud and happy mum. The colt is by the handsome and incredibly well bred stallion Pontsteffan Simwnt Imp UK. and is his first bay progeny!
Dera will be started under saddle soon.

Bamborough aureola
Bamborough Aureola was purchased from the 2014 Bamborough Sale.
I wasnt going to bid until i saw a photo posted late the night before and was in love straight away!
Aureola is by the Super Sire Imperial Juggler and out of the Imported 1995 Royal Welsh Winning Mare, Cottrell Aurora.
Her beautiful filly is August born and by the successful sire Boston Bittermint Imp, and was the darling of the sale from all reports!
So excited for my fledgling Welsh Stud acquiring such a stunning well bred mare and filly!!
Bambi will be bred to Marconi Gold Maker this season.

In the photos they are only an hour off the truck after their 3 day trip. Thanks to Hanns Transport for taking such good care of them!
Both are just breath taking ponies, huge type and beautiful natures.
Aureola is 13hh and is such a beautiful and correct mare!
Bambi as i now call her, has been joined to Marconi Gold Maker for an October 2016 foal, am very eagerly awaiting this foal!

Trentlyn Folksong has just recently entered our broodmare band after impressing me with her incredible foals.
Thanks to Emma Jackson and Lisa O'Neill for the use of the images. Emma owns her stunning buckskin son by Weston Park Mercury, who was the one that first caught my eye and started my search for his dam!
She has a beautiful pedigree being by Rotherwood Casino Royale.

Garraboo rowena
1997 born
Rowena came to us at the start of the 2014 breeding season and was bred to Marconi Gold Maker.
Rowena is a gorgeous substantial mare, big eyes and incredible mover, a real pleasure to watch! She is Mithril bred being by Rhyl Buccaneer out of Garraboo Rosetta.
She has been an absolute no fuss mare, straight in foal and very easy to have around!
Over the time Rowie has been here she has endeared herself to me. Her current colt is outstanding and she didnt mind our presence at all at the birth and after. She has the most beautiful of kind temperaments and is a massive mover which she has passed onto her boys. Ive been told her progeny have reached 14hh and it looks like her current boy is going to be quite tall too!

Blondie was purchased within a few hours of discovering her! She was exactly what i was looking for to continue on with my dilute welsh b breeding program!
She was a multi supreme winner as a young filly and mare before being retired to the breeding barn! What a producer she has been as well! She is a good size at round 13hh and is the sweetest and easiest mare to have around and do anything with!
She has beautiful bloodlines and is a great outcross for my Marconi Stallions. She is by Congarinni Harlequin out of Salient Graceful.
She will be bred to Marconi Gold Maker this 2016 season for hopefully a double dilute!
